This isn't statutory , is it?

me and my boyfriend have been going out since i was 16, and he was 17. now, i'm 17 (almost 18!), and he's 19 (he just had his b-day). we're both still virgins, but we decided to have for the first time- until, this stupid thing i remembered! is it technically...illgeal for me and him to do it? because i'm a minor, and he a legal adult? would it be statutory ? because if it is, that would really, really suck.
