Tips for living away from home when your 18 please?

My friend and i are planning on moving to breckenridge in colorado to work as ski instructors at a huge local mountain. At the mountain first year workers earn about 13 dollers an hour plus tips, my friend and i have calculated that we will be earning $3,744 plus tip a month together. I would really like some help and tips from adults about the price of cheap apartments, monthly food bills, health insurance, cell phone bills and anything else. Please give me any information so my friend and i get an idea of if we can pull this off. Our dream has been to live together and ski together in breckenridge so any advice to make our dreams come true are very helpful. Thank you
