Tips on kissing a guy?

I am 16 and my boyfriend and i have never kissed (crazy story as to why we havnt). I am a very shy girl but i really want to kiss him. I don't want to mess up or do something stupid. Is there a correct and a wrong way of kissing? is there a way to make the guy feel even better?
