Feel very torn. I love my mom, but I need to grow up. What can I do?

You can't claim that you are very mature for the following reasons. You cannot tell the difference between your parent and a friend. You can't have an actual conversation about with your so-called bf. You have no other friends...anywhere. You have absolutely no clue how to conduct a relationship because you stopped talking to him off for a month due to a simple miscommunication. You can't proceed in your so-called relationship without asking your mommy what to do. You seem to think that you have to choose between your mom and a guy. You feel the need to compromise with a woman who has no business being in your business. You are so far from mature that you can't look back and see mature from where you are. I suggest that until you can actually think for yourself, and not be unduly influenced by your parental unit, you not date. It will be doomed if you do.
